Neaman Institute Reception

The Samuel Neaman Institute is a national public policy research think tank focused on harnessing higher education, science, engineering and technology for the prosperity and resilience of society and state.

Founded in 1978 by Samuel Neaman as an independent nonprofit organization, our mission is to identify, formulate, and analyze policy issues vital to the State of Israel’s scientific and societal development. All this to encourage an informed public debate, that will advance and assist in national decision-making processes.

Research at the Neaman Institute focuses on policy analysis on topics of national importance in the fields of science, engineering, technology, higher education, and society, generating strategic insights and policy recommendations for decision-makers.

With a diverse research team of leaders and experts from academia and industry, the Institute produces an extensive range of research publications, hosts conferences and symposia, and provides support for students and researchers in relevant fields.
